I never thought I would watch a video about myself tbh, lol. I absolutely hated Ahsoka at first, and grit my teeth and kept watching because I love star wars. Before I even realized it, the hate I had for Ahsoka turned around and immediately went from every scene with her in it being worse, to every scene without her always felt slightly more empty. She did a complete lateral move as my most hated star wars character, to one of my favorites, up there with Anakin/Luke Skywalker.

Low key, I think Filoni kinda saved the prequels. In Episode 2 & 3 we get Anakin at his worst, and he isn’t very likable. In Clone Wars we get Anakin as big brother/good dad/ hero of the republic. We get to root for him instead of watch his downfall, and at the same time the reason for eventual collapse gets made much more reasonable. Ashoka it exactly what was needed to rehab Anakin’s image, and she’s such a beautifully written character on her own.

What's wild is that Ahsoka being introduced at first felt like one of those things kids shows do where they introduce a younger character in the rarget demographic's age range, and she grew up with those kids who watched Clone Wars, and now you really can't imagine Star Wars without her presence in the galaxy.

A character that makes the viewer not want to watch the show is not a good idea. Not mention if you need to watch a show multiple seasons just to finally start enjoying it is a terrible idea. Character arc is one thing, antagonising viewers is another.

Hi, new starwars fan here. I honestly would like this theory to be true cause that means we can say Acolyte was just a bad timeline and keep it moving. even brush it under rug. that is if its actually going to considered conan. Also I'm having so much fun watching all of starwars. I'm honestly not sure if I am watching right. I'm watching chronologically not by release date. and even then its still awesome! I'm not sure why hadn't started sooner...

Oh wow, the teenager being a teenager was unacceptable. Her growing up is also a big deal. I had no issue with Ahsoka and she felt the most alive out of any character.

I never understood the Ahsoka hate, i always viewed her as a teenage girl that acted as such. The was always in my eyes the female counterpart to Anakin, she was the councils way of keeping him in check (as much as they could )as he couldn't be as reckless/arrogant as he had been because he had to lead by example

I think people are just prejudiced, they don’t like New things, and they will act on their prejudice. Overtime, she became one of the most beloved characters I feel this will continue to be the trend for Star Wars and other Fandoms moving forward.
